MITOS is a new type of currency that can only be earned through engagement in sustainable activities that work towards fighting against climate change. We believe that by working together we can not only change the way we consume, but also work towards a more healthy planet that limits the carbon emissions and waste we produce.

Our app will give people “mitos” or points in exchange for them participating in sustainable activities within their community. They can then use these points to purchase necessary products from a local hub and online store that only has approved sustainable products that will further improve the habits we have to better the planet.

How do I spend my mitos?You can spend your mitos through the app. In the app each member is given a membership card that can be used in all stores for approved sustainable products. You can also use your mitos in the MITOS store. Here you can find all approved sustainable products right in one convenient location.

Can I track my own daily progress?Yes! In the app you can keep track of every sustainable act and apply it in order to earn your mitos. You will see your personal progress and how it adds up with the group total of saving carbon emissions, waste we eliminated, and the renewable energy we produced.

How can I join MITOS if I don't have a device?In the MITOS store there are devices for purchase that can be paid off with the mitos that you earn from your sustainable activities. Just 50 mitos will get you going with your handheld device, and starting your progress towards joining the sustainable movement!

How do I know how many mitos I am earning for each activity?In the app you will see there are three categories: Transportation, Home, Out and About, and Energy. In each of these tabs the number of mitos you earn for each activity is recorded with specifics.
